GENERAL DESCRIPTION

Doctoral Program with Mention of Excellence by Resolution of October 6, 2011 of the General Secretariat of Universities (BOE no. 253, October 20, 2011).

Professorship: Doctors of the Departament of Electrónics and Electromagnetism (University of Seville), of the Departament of Electronics Technology (University of Seville) y of the Microelectronics Institute of Seville (IMSE-CNM-CSIC)

The Department of Electronics and Electromagnetism of the University of Seville started, more than 20 years ago, the doctoral programme in Microelectronics, in which over the years a considerable number of doctors have been formed. By adapting to the Royal Decree 56/2005, the doctoral program joins the Postdegree in Physics, where also belong the Master in Microelectronics: Design and Applications of Micro/Nanometric Systems, which constitutes their training period. The doctoral program takes again the title of Doctorate in Microelectronics, in order to relate it more clearly with their educational and scientific content.

Number of places new admission offered: 30. The number of places offered refers only to the research period of the doctoral program, and not to the previous training period.
