By adapting to the Royal Decree 56/2005, the doctoral program joins the Postdegree in Physics, where also belong the Master in Microelectronics: Design and Applications of Micro/Nanometric Systems, which constitutes their training period. The doctoral program takes again the title of Doctorate in Microelectronics, in order to relate it more clearly with their educational and scientific content.

Number of places new admission offered: 30. The number of places offered refers only to the research period of the doctoral program, and not to the previous training period.
